Santiago trip

If I were a tourist, I`d would go to visit the Central Market, where you can sample the national cuisine. Especially I would recommend to test seafood from our shore, a highly recommended place and usually visited by tourists. This visit can be complemented with a walk in thecity center, where you can visit historical buildings such as around the Plaza de Armas. Another place, about 40 minutes from Santiago is Farellones a center for ski and winter sports surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Andes. The mountains are especially recomended for young people or in good physical condition. There are a lot of types of travel with various types of difficulty, i recommend it the Provincia or Manquehue hill for begginers. For advanced walkers the Plomo hill (5440m) is a excelent choice, but it may take several days. But not all is mountains, Santiago has a lot of nice walks in various parks like Forestal park, in the city center, with the Museum But not all is mountain, Santiago has a lot of nice walks in various parks like “Forestal”, with the Museum of Fine Arts usually called “Museo de Bellas Artes” and the Museum of Modern Art or “Museo de Arte Contemporaneo” both in the same building. Another park is the “Parque Metropolitano”, in the San Cristobal Hill, a family outing, with a zoo, picnic areas, art galleries and excellents viewpoints, especially after a rain when the sky looks clear.
